She’s had the opportunity to share her practice with a number of individuals, organizations, schools, and companies across the country. In addition to her physical work, she operates Mako Mindfulness, a web-based educational platform created to teach you how to build resilience to stress and learn tips for incorporating self-care throughout your day.
I held my annual global meeting in Dallas during the week of October 14th. After meeting Amanda a year ago, and learning about her Resilient Leader training package, I knew that I had to include her on the agenda. I was expecting it to be good, but she far exceeded my expectations!! The content was very strong, supported with various studies and data. Her delivery was powerful and impactful. She was very energetic, and connected quickly with a heavily culturally diverse audience. Throughout her time with us, I received with text messages or comments during break regarding how much her training will be instrumental in changing lives and make them better fathers, husbands, moms or daughters. The value of investing in our people is immeasurable. I highly recommend that you connect with and include Amanda Muhammad in your endeavor to pour into your team.
”Great training and insight on stress and trauma!”・”Excellent! One of the best trainings I attended” ・”Amazing training, great information, useful practices, relevant to my current work. Best presentation ever.
Amanda talked to our girls about mindfulness, meditation, gratitude, affirmations and my favorite- resiliency! Our Directors and Volunteers learned a lot (too!) about how our minds and bodies react to stress. She packed so much valuable content into her time and many girls said her session was their favorite part! You are an amazing example for our young people, Amanda!! It was a blessing to have you with us!! And a beautiful thing to witness your craft 🙂 We are clients for life! #HearHerRoar.
This was my first year teaching and it was a difficult one. We have very little support and although some of the teachers are wonderful and helped me as much as they could, it still was a pretty rough year. I was stressed to the point where I barely remember the beginning of the year. These workshops really helped me and I try and practice mindfulness educating every day.
I truly believe in the practice that you and your company are spreading! I have even spread some of this to my spouse and our home.
